Your IEP Audit Report

The way your IEP is written matters
An IEP is a legal promise — but a promise only counts if it's specific. Schools often use soft language that sounds supportive and commits to nothing. When the words are vague, it's much harder to hold the school accountable for what your child was promised.
How it works
Three steps, about two minutes of your time.
Upload your IEP
Drop in the PDF of your child's current IEP. That's all we need to get started.
We audit every section
Your IEP is checked against federal law (IDEA) and the Endrew F. standard — section by section, for both compliance and whether it's specific enough to enforce.
Get your report
A clear score for each section, the weak spots flagged in plain English, and a strategy with the questions to ask in the meeting.
See the difference specifics make
Here's the same reading goal, written two ways — and the score each one earns.
"Ethan will improve his reading and become a more confident reader."
No baseline, no number, no date. "Improve" can't be proven or disproven.
Enforceability score: 20 / 100
"Given a 4th-grade passage, Ethan will read 90 correct words/minute (baseline: 52) on curriculum-based probes, across 3 sessions, by May 30, 2027."
Target, baseline, method, and a date. Progress is provable.
Enforceability score: 95 / 100
What you get
Everything you need to walk into the meeting with the confidence to advocate for your child's needs.
A score for every section
Present levels, goals, services, placement, and more — each one rated for compliance and enforceability.
Weak spots & gaps flagged
Every place the wording is vague — and every service, support, or accommodation that's missing — named in plain English.
A strategy for each section
The questions to ask, and the reason behind each one, so you know not just what to say but why you're saying it.
The "why" behind it
A plain-language look at what each section requires and why it matters — a deeper understanding of the process, not just a checklist.
Ready-to-paste language
Stronger wording you can hand the team to drop straight into the IEP.
Emailed to you
Your full report arrives as a PDF you can keep, print, or bring to the meeting.
A fraction of the cost
A professional advocate is worth every penny — but most families can't start at $100+ an hour. AuditMyIEP gives you a serious head start for less than the cost of lunch.
Shown to scale, for comparison. AuditMyIEP is a tool, not a private advocacy service — the audit is a starting point you can always take to an advocate or attorney.

- It is never used to train AI.
- It is read only to build your report, then cleared the moment your report is ready.

Meet Anna
Anna is a single mom of a 14-year-old son, Jonah, who's in middle school here in Colorado and has special needs. Much of what she knows about advocating inside the special-education system, she learned fighting for him.
She's also a local realtor of over 12 years, and has spent more than 20 years helping people through some of the biggest decisions of their lives — in real estate, in finance, and in education. She holds a degree in business management, has worked in finance, and served as a student-services liaison at a Colorado university, guiding advisors and students through undergraduate and early-childhood-education programs. That work made her fluent in how the Department of Education operates.
She's a parent and a professional who has spent her career on the front lines — guiding, teaching, and advocating for people. She's not an attorney. AuditMyIEP is the resource she wishes she'd had: a way to understand your child's IEP, know what the law requires, and walk into the meeting ready to advocate.

Questions parents ask
Is this legal advice?
No. AuditMyIEP is an educational tool to help you understand your child's IEP and prepare to advocate. It doesn't replace a special-education attorney or advocate. For legal advice about your specific situation, talk to a licensed attorney in your state.
When should I use this?
The best time is before your annual IEP meeting. You're entitled to ask the school for the draft IEP ahead of time — upload that and you'll walk in knowing exactly what to ask for, while the language can still be fixed. You can also audit your current IEP any time to see what to raise.
Is my child's information safe?
Yes. Your IEP is never saved to any system or AI platform and never used to train AI. It's read only to build your report, then cleared the moment the report is ready, and only you ever see it. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
What if my IEP is long?
That's fine — IEPs are often 30 to 60 pages. The audit handles the whole document; longer files just take a little longer to process.
How accurate is it?
The report is generated by AI checking your IEP against federal standards. It's a strong starting point for understanding and advocating — not a guarantee of any outcome. Always review it against your own knowledge of your child.
Do you store my payment information?
No. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — only a confirmation that the payment went through.
You don't have to walk into that room alone.
You don't have to be a lawyer to advocate for your child. You just need to understand the IEP, and how to make sure it reflects what your child needs.
